I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work from Brigham Young University Idaho in 2011 and my Master of Social Work with emphases in Mental Health Counseling and Addiction Studies from Northwest Nazarene University in 2014 and have been working in the field since 2010.
I’m currently a school-based child therapist in north inland San Diego county. I have worked with those who suffer from drug/alcohol addiction, mental illness, behavioral issues, and homelessness. I have worked as a case manager, skills trainer, and counselor for children, adolescents, and adults in drug courts, residential facilities, schools, jail, and client homes.
I have a passion for mindfulness, holism in mental health treatment, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, technology integration, and psych research.
On a more personal note, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking and backpacking, technology and gadgetry, video games, spending time with my dog, Thai food, reading, and hanging out with my husband – to name a few of my favorite things.
